Mizuu asks for root access

Some users want to be able to access content on their network attached storage (NAS) device using third party applications, likeĀ CIFS Manager.

CIFS Manager requires root access to create a virtual folder on the devices that maps directly to the NAS device, and Mizuu can use this folder to identify files, however root access is required to access the folder. CIFS Manager isn’t perfect and is known to cause crashes in other applications because it doesn’t always report the correct state of files, so your mileage may vary.

To request root access, go to Settings -> General and then check the box for Enable root access. A dialog will appear with the request.
