It’s 4.30 AM here and I can’t sleep, so I thought I’d post a few funny screenshots from the development of Mizuu – how it looked back then and how it looks now.
Here’s the movie overview screen – it started out without a theme, and it’d crash if it had more than approximately 30 movies in the library due to memory constraints. Now you can choose between two layouts and I think it looks fantastic. Might need to work on the menu buttons at the top though 🙂
Next up is the movie details view, which has also been updated quite a bit since the initial release. First came a theme and more options, then came the backdrop images, quickly followed by actor info and backdrops and in the latest version it all integrates in a cool layout that focuses on visual content.
Lastly I’d like to show how minor updates and differences can completely change the look and feel of a feature – in this case it’s the manual identification feature for movies.
Naturally, these are just some of the many changes from the initial versions of Mizuu, but I think it’s funny to take a look back in time and hopefully you’ve enjoyed it as well 🙂
