 4 Digit Seasons
Hey I am having issues adding a TV series with a 4 digit season
I am trying to add some Looney Tunes to my Collection but everytime it starts to search it forces Mizuu closed. I have tried several naming conventions and folder structures but just wont add it, looking at the FAQ's it does show a max of 2 digits per season, but I have managed to add other TV Shows that have the year as the season, not sure why Looney Tunes isnt adding - here is the TVDB link
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id;=72514&lid;=7
My Current Folder Stucture is:
Looney Tunes/Looney Tunes Season 1960/Looney Tunes S1960E05 episodename.avi
I have several episodes of the BBC's This World Program and they are in the exact same structure as above and have added to Mizuu with no issues.
Maybe it is not correctly getting the correct show? Is there a way to insert the show ID into the naming? interested on your thoughts,
Oh an well done on creating such an awesome app, by far the best app purchase I have ever made!

Hi!

Which version of Mizuu are you using? I've had this issue before and believe I fixed it.

If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

Hey Mitchell,
Thanks for the quick reply, I have the latest version 2.8.9.2
But you're right I dont think that is the actual issue - was just coming back to alter my question. It seems that it is timing out before it finds the updated files (is there a max size/amount of tv shows?)
'm just clearing the cache and going to test adding just 1 folder with 1 file, will let you know,
Steve

Can you report the crash when it happens? If so, please do and add a comment, so I can know that it's the one related to your issue. That'll help immensely.

RE: 4 Digit Seasons
I honestly have no idea why that happens.

According to the crash log, it tries to parse the "1960" part of the file path as a number and fails - apparently because " 1" is an invalid number. I'm not sure where it gets " 1" from based on the file name you supplied - and I really don't understand why there's a space in front of it. The code specifically removes any spaces at the exact code line where the crash occurs.

Are you absolutely positive that all files are named like the one you supplied in your previous post? I've run unit tests on that one and it works just fine.

If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

RE: 4 Digit Seasons
Hi Michell,

Thanks for your reply - sorry I thought it was a season naming issue,
OK I have an idea what has happened but cant be sure - one of the subfolders had a space before its name " Loney Tunes Season 1960" and within that folder 2 episodes had a space before the file name " Looney Tunes S1960E05 episodename.avi"
I actually removed all new files from my TV Shows folder and the same error is occurring - even with no new content, so I am going to reinstall a fresh version of Mizuu and reload everything.
Haven't got time today but will let you know how it goes - sorry to take up your time on this as I don't think it was a Mizuu problem, more like user error!!

Cheers mate,

Steve

RE: 4 Digit Seasons
If you can send me the exact filepath, I'll be able to check if that's what's causing the issue and hopefully fix it.

Cheers
Michell

RE: 4 Digit Seasons
I have changed and tried it multiple combinations but it is currently -
D:\TV Shows\Looney Tunes\Looney Tunes 1960\Looney Tunes S1960E02 West of the Pesos.mkv

copied and pasted the path from my windows pc - I'm at work now so won't have time to access to my android box for a while.

Below is a list of some of the combinations I tried (I know some of these Shouldn't work, but was just testing)
\TV Shows\Looney Tunes\Season 1960\Looney Tunes S1960E02 West of the Pesos.mkv
\TV Shows\Looney Tunes\1960\Looney Tunes S1960E02 West of the Pesos.mkv
\TV Shows\Looney Tunes\Looney Tunes S1960E02 West of the Pesos.mkv
\Looney Tunes Season 1960\Looney Tunes S1960E02 West of the Pesos.mkv
\TV Shows\Looney Tunes\1960\E02 West of the Pesos.mkv
\TV Shows\Looney Tunes\Looney Tunes 1960\02 West of the Pesos.mkv
\Looney Tunes\Looney Tunes S1960E02 West of the Pesos.mkv

As I mentioned I tried removing all new files completely from my hard drive, also tried adding just 1 folder and file using a different tv show that I know works but the same issue is now happening - think the app has corrupted itself somehow, a have faith a fresh install will sort itself out!
