RE: Unidentified movies get combined
All right, I'll check it out
Can you provide me with the exact steps to reproduce it?
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

RE: Unidentified movies get combined
OK, here we go:
Hopefully, I didn't forget a step. I also attached several text files, with the content of some folders, to give you a view for the structure of my movie data (filenames and so...). |

RE: Unidentified movies get combined
Thanks, that's excellent! I've created an issue for it here: https://github.com/MizzleDK/MizuuApp/issues/81
Depending on the complexity of the issue, it might be fixed in the next version.
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

Great! And even with high priority!
If you need more information or some kind of log file, or so, just let me know! |

RE: Unidentified movies get combined
All right, I've been able to reproduce the issue and can confirm that it's working as expected.
The reason for this is that Mizuu also uses the parent folder name to identify movies if the file name doesn't yield any results. Since you're organizing movies using genre folders, that's why you're experiencing this issue. For example, the "Drama" folder includes a lot of files with poor file naming that can't be recognized. Instead it tries to identify the file based on the parent folder's name (Drama), and it just so happens that there's a movie called "Drama". This means that all the files with bad file naming in the Drama folder get recognized as this movie. There's really nothing I can do about this. It simply has to work this way, since a lot of people are relying on folder name identification rather than file name identification.
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

RE: Unidentified movies get combined
Hm, Ok, I understand. So maybe you could add an option in the settings to disable the folder identification for movies (not for TV shows)? In my case, I think, this would solve this problem. And identification based on filenames is all I need.
Just another point: When I like to mark a whole season as seen, I need to mark all episodes one by one. And I need to scroll through the detailed view, to do so. It would be great if I could set a whole season as seen with one click. And it would also be very comfortable, if I could set those seen markers directly in the list, where they appear. Am I to much ambitious? |

RE: Unidentified movies get combined
Yeah, I might add something like that. Could probably help :-) I've added it as an issue here, marked for v2.7: https://github.com/MizzleDK/MizuuApp/issues/93. Version 2.6 is coming out today / tomorrow depending on your time zone. I'll be trying to aim at releasing new versions on the 20th of each month.
Regarding the TV show stuff, that's something that's on the to-do list. I want to do a major re-write of the TV show details section. It has a lot of flaws right now and I'm really not happy with the experience, features nor the code behind it.
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.
