Navigation using tv remote?
Part tip and second part help. I have a Neo x5 and like many android media centres Mizuu is slick, intuative and aesthetically pleasing. I have bought a harmony remote and as tip to navigate films using the basic directional keys (that others may know but in case helps someone). On opening mizuu the film selection cannot be made on the remote unless......Push up on remote so highlight on search icon, push left once to highlight "movies" and then by pushing down once you are now highlighting the first film in your collection. It is obvious where to go then. HOWEVER the issue I am having is being able, with the d pad of my remote (up down left right) with OK button to select my tv shows? Each time I have to get my seperate airremote out which is a pain. Any updates or help/tips that anyone has?

RE: Navigation using tv remote?
First of all, the next update should help quite a bit with non-touch navigation.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean regarding the "being able to select my tv shows" part. It seems like you have to use a separate remote, which sounds extremely weird. Can you elaborate on that?
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

RE: Navigation using tv remote?

Yes, the basic navigational direction options on the remote along with the "OK" button will not allow you to select top left for films, tv shows etc and then change from the screen of movie listing to tv listing. The "other" remote is a air remote with keyboard which is many ways acts like a touch screen smart phone or tablet. In short how do I select "tv shows" with only directional keys on a remote control? Also while asking questions how do I search for tv shows to assign to unidentified files? At the moment can only search films. |

RE: Navigation using tv remote?
Can't say too much at this point, but it'll be easier to use on non-touch devices.
Which version are you using? You should be able to press the top-left icon (the app icon) to show the navigation drawer. That'll enable you to switch between the different sections, i.e. movies and TV shows. Can you elaborate on the last question? Not quite sure I fully understand your wording.
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

RE: Navigation using tv remote?
I think the second question was answered within the first one. Once you navigate to TV Shows form the top-left icon you can filter for unidentified files.
I have had the same issues in regards to using a remote control and having to navigate using the UP-LEFT-DOWN method to then be able to browse the listings, but it sounds like you have updates coming to reoslve that which will be great. My only feebdack (Other than this being simply awesome and, for me, a total XBMC replacement) would be that it would be great to be able to increase the size of each tile or poster (Not sure what you call them), in my Movies or TV listings, on my TV there are 13 listings for each row, and each one is quie small, I love to be able to have them twice the size they are currently. I have the settung set to "Normal" not "Small", so it'd be great if there was a "Large" or even "Extra Large" option. |

RE: Navigation using tv remote?
Hey!
Yeah, I'll be working on improving a lot of non-touch stuff. I know it's not great at the moment, and although I do prioritize touch devices, I know that there's a big audience for non-touch devices as well. I'm considering adding a large option for the thumbnails :-)
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.
