missing some movies/not removing others when deleted
If I delete movie from my samba mounted share then refresh it doesn't get removed from the display. Should it? Or do I need to clear before refreshing (takes longer but will remove it).
Also for some reason not every movie is picked up. First I noticed any directory with a : r ! in caused problems. I have things set up to create a directory for each title and then each movie in the directory. I needed to remove the : in the Lord of The Rings trilogy through kept it in the file name. One that is missed is directory name 2001- A Space Odyssey file in directory 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).mpg It will play with mxplayer directly. Any thoughts why? |

RE: missing some movies/not removing others when deleted
Hi!
Content in your libraries will only be removed if you remove it manually or perform a library update while checking the "Remove unavailable files" option. The second issue sounds rather weird. Nothing like that should be happening. Are you sure the movies don't appear in Unidentified movies? Cheers Michell
If something's not working, it's probably my fault. Let me know.

RE: missing some movies/not removing others when deleted
Thanks, checking unavailable solved the deleted files perfectly
In my movies screen I don't have any unidentified movies, and it looks like 2001 A Space Odyssey is the only missing movie. Nothing different in any of the permissions. Are there any log files I can look at? Its a very nice piece of software! |

Hey!
Can you send me the full path to the movie? Cheers Michell

Ok, I know what is going on, the file name was 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).mpg If I remove the : and make it 2001 A Space Odyssey (1968).mpg it gets found and identified correctly. The odd thing was The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001).mpg worked with or without the : It definitely doesn't like a : in the directory name, so I just remove the tricky characters in my perl script in both directory and title and all is ok. Not sure if you want to uncover why the : in 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).mpg caused problems. James |

RE: missing some movies/not removing others when deleted
Hi James!
I definitely want to figure out why it didn't work, so I've created a specific issue for that here: https://github.com/MizzleDK/MizuuApp/issues/85 Thanks for finding this bug for me
