Hi Michell,

Another problem since last update !
Before I had these movies with cover and Backdrops images.
Now Mizuu refuse to add the pictures.
Identification of the movie is OK
Also I cannot play the movie.
If I open the movie with filemanager I can play it

Please advise

Hi!

I can assure you that nothing has changed regarding playback, so if it worked previously, it should still work now. If it doesn't, it's due to a third party issue.

Can you describe the images issue in greater detail?

previously I had the covers and backdrop images.
now suddenly gone.....
I have removed the movies at least 5 times, did movie updates and they came back like it is now
Indentification recognize the movie, put plot, ect... but doesn't put covers nor backdrops and this in 3 movies (the rest I didn't check yet)

meanwhile I was waiting I have checked the other movies and total I have 4 like this.

As it seems I can't get any reply on my problem, I have been searching myself and solved the problem which has to do with the "folder" name and not with the movie name.
My question now is :
Is Mizuu searching on the folder name or the movie name ?

Sorry about not replying. For some reason I didn't receive any e-mail notifications about new posts in the thread.

Anyway, to answer your question: Mizuu searches based on the filename first, and if that doesn't result in any matches, it attempts with the folder name.

Which version are you using? There was a bug in one of the previous versions that related to images not being downloaded - in certain cases - if you'd enabled localized movie data.

I would like to add I came across this problem and found the images did download but were broken so the app would never display them. When I went in the app, removed the movie and used a File Manager and removed the images there as well then reopened the app and updated Movies all would redownload and work.

From what I gather IF an image errors during download the app doesn't know it and displays what it has. No matter how many times you 'update cover' or 'background' it never does as the first image is broken and for some reason not replaceable.
