Mizuu Explorer program
Upon paying the one-time fee, you’ll be part of the Mizuu Explorer program. This program exists for educational purposes only and includes a number of cool advantages for anyone interested in this kind of stuff.
Advantages
As a Mizuu Explorer, you’ll get full access to how Mizuu is developed:
- You’ll be granted access to a private Git repository on Github. This includes access to all commits and source code. You’ll also gain access to hidden cross-links between the private repository and the public suggestions repository.
- You’ll be allowed to use Mizuu’s source code as a source of inspiration or education for other projects.
- You’ll be allowed to compile versions of Mizuu for your own personal usage.
- You’ll be allowed to modify Mizuu’s source code and compile the application for your own personal usage.
- If you make any changes or improvements that you think should be used in the official application, you’re allowed to create a pull request. If I decide to use the changes in the application, you’ll be credited for your work in the application. This essentially means that you can help develop Mizuu.
Disclaimer
You’re not allowed to copy source code or resources from Mizuu and use it in other applications. You’re also not allowed to use the source code in any context that resembles the purpose of Mizuu or competes with Mizuu. Also, I do not guarantee that all code is optimized, isn’t buggy or that it’s commented - some parts of Mizuu could definitely be improved, and will be in the future, so what you’re getting is the absolute raw unfiltered content. You should join the program if you like something in Mizuu and want to know how it’s done.
Why is there a fee?
I would love to share the source code of Mizuu for educational purposes, but I also want to make sure that no one abuses having access to the source code of the application. One way to ensure that the offer isn’t abused is to introduce a small fee. That’ll discourage most kinds of abuse. I’m also interested in knowing what you’ll use the access for, so that’s a determining factor as well. You won’t get access if I don’t approve of your reasoning.
