Welcome screen. This is the first screen you’ll see when launching Mizuu - it provides quick access to Movies, TV Shows, Web Videos and Trailers. The Welcome screen is customizable, so you can make it show latest blog posts, recommended movies and TV shows as well as greet your by your name rather than the standard “Welcome” message.

Movies overview. This is where you’ll find an overview of all your movies. You can view your collection by All movies, Favourites, Genres and Available files, and you can sort it by title, rating or release date. It’s also possible to search your collection. You can choose between two ways of viewing the overview - a grid view and a horizontal slide wiew. The TV shows overview works almost the same way.

Movie details. Once you’ve selected a movie from the overview, you’ll be presented with the movie details view. This is where you’ll find all kinds of information about the selected movie, including title, tagline and plot, production year, runtime, rating, certification, genres, reviews and actor information.

Backdrop browser. Mizuu automatically fetches a random backdrop image when you view movie details, but you can actually choose one yourself that’ll be downloaded locally to your device and shown every time you view that movie. You’ll find the backdrop browser by simply tapping on the backdrop image or by using the Change backdrop option from the menu.

Cover browser. Likewise, you can also manually set another cover if you don’t like the default cover that’s already been downloaded by Mizuu. Just tap the cover image or use the Change cover art option from the menu.

TV show details. You’ll be presented with the TV show details view when you select a show from the overview. Here you’ll find various episode details, including title, plot, season and episode, release date, director, writer, guest stars and actors. You can easily get an overview of your local episodes by choosing the Episodes button. You can also change the backdrop and cover art image for TV shows - it works the exact same way as for movies.

Web Videos. Videos are no longer just on your local device - they’re on the web and constantly changing. That’s why you can easily access some of the most popular videos on the web using the Web Videos section of Mizuu. You’ve got easy access to the most popular videos on YouTube and Reddit Videos, popular video streams on Justin.tv and the latest inspiring videos from TED Talks. Enjoy!

Trailers. Using the latest information available from HD-trailers.net, Mizuu shows you an overview of some of the latest movie trailers on the web. Everything is shown with a cover image, description and a list of available trailers. Some trailers require a third party video player, but most trailers also include a YouTube link. You can also search for trailers on YouTube.
