Firstly, apologies if this functionality is already in the application and I've missed it.
I watch a lot of TV on portable devices, firstly was a iTouch and now more recently its a Nexus 7. Maintaining where I'm up to in each series is hard, especially as I put down a TV series for a couple of months.
So a watched indicator next to the episode would be very useful.

That's coming for both TV shows and movies. Not only will you be able to mark files as watched, you'll also be able to add them to a "Watch later" list.

Fantastic… and thanks for the stupidly quick response :) I'll keep an eye on the site for the nightlies and can test on Nexus 7 and a Galaxy S1.

Just out of interest, as you don't play directly within the app, will it mark the movie / tv episode automatically when the player has finished with an episode?

Feel free To do that.
Well, the only way to do it is to mark it as watched when the users presses the play button . But I'll try to set a time limit for it, i.e. the user must have been away from Mizuu for a minute for it to be marked as watched.

The above replied was posted from my phone, so let me just elaborate on it.
In Android it's possible to react the a few events, including when the user opens an application, when the user leaves and resumes again. I'd like to set a timer when the user hits "Play", and then check if more than a minute or so has passed when the user resumes. If that's the case, then it'd be marked as watched.
If you've got any suggestions, I'll be happy to receive them.
